I had a 19 ram Laramie with the Harmon kardon system and I think it was the best sounding radio I have ever had. Now I bought a 22 rebel with 8.4 non alpine and I hate the sound.

I seen some people online putting infinity speaker replacement. What do you guys recommend it’s a lease so I don’t wanna go with anything too crazy I’m prob only going to keep it a year or so. Please let me know. Thanks

Get the Infinity Reference speakers. You can get four 6X9s and the two dash speakers for under $250. I had Kenwood Excelons in my Gen4 and loved those as well. takes about an hour to install them. Keep the old speakers and put them back in when the lease is over.

I’m Seeing some people go with the infinity 9623 and some go with 9633?
They have 2-way and 3-way 6X9s and 6.5" that fit. I went with the 3-way 6X9 (the 9633). The dash speakers are the 3022s.

I found the stereo to have decent lows, but even with the treble up all the way, had no highs. After reading MANY threads, decided to start by replacing the dash speakers with the infinitys, then reassessing. I added a 4 ohm resistor to keep them from overpowering the 6x9s. It made a difference, probably will leave it as is. FYI Amazon was much cheaper than everyone else.

So the 9633’s are better? I was going to order (4) 6x9 9633’s and (2) 3032’s for the dash?
That will work. Order from Amazon. Crutchfield is ridiculously expensive. Make sure to get the harnesses. They are like $5. They just plug into the new speakers and then into the existing wiring coupler. The Kenwood Excelons are really nice as well. But the Infinity seems to be the preferred speaker here.

This... Mr. FL-RAM gave me the same advice not too long ago and I fought it but eventually caved. Glad I did. Night and day difference. This Friday will be adding a 10 inch Kicker Hideaway and call it done.

Nice! I had a Hideaway in my F150 and it did the job perfectly. Plus, it comes with a little remote control device that you can mount on the dash somewhere and use to adjust the bass without having to go into the EQ settings on the headunit.

I seen some online videos people say they needed an ANC module bypass? Do I need that? I believe it’s for the noise cancellation under the driver seat module

Is this for tweeters only so 1 pair? Or do I need for each speaker and tweeters? Sorry for all the questions I haven’t change speakers in 20 years
The smaller ones are for the dash speakers. You just need two. The bigger ones are for the door speakers. You will need two sets.
