Six classic cars using both Battery Tender and Battery Minder for 10 yrs …no issues. Dad had one for a 36v golf cart used for 6mths a year several years problem free.

I have 15+ NOCO 5's and 3 NOCO 3500's.

I use two NOCO 5's on my '15 RAM 3500 Dually. It currently has 28K miles, so it sits a lot. I keep all the NOCO's on all the cars/truck all the time.

You won't go wrong...

Don't know about that particular model, but have used Battery Tender for over 17 years without problems on tractors, ATVs and vehicle batteries. I love 'em.

CTEK makes high quality chargers / maintainers as well. CTEK supplies the factory tenders for a many vehicles manufactures (Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Volvo, etc). In the last 20 years have used 4 CTEK tenders and 3 Battery Tender products, had one Battery Tender fail (model 7002) after 10 years. Dropped another and it stopped working. Both brands are good quality. CTEK is a little more sophisticated and slightly better for long term battery storage, IMHO.

I wired that same model 4 AMP Battery Tender directly to my 3046R and it does a much better job than the smaller AMP rating models. IMHO, you won't regret the larger AMP rating model.

I am on my 3rd 750ma Deltran Battery Tender brand battery maintainer/tender that I have used on motorcycles For 20+ years. The Deltran tender comes with a 10 year warranty, and the first 2 I had literally lasted 10 years and then just short of 10…..I have since purchased a heartier 3amp version as well, should more juice be needed.

I use Black and Decker 2 amp waterproof units as most applications are exposed to the weather. I have several of these and they have lasted so far for 5 years.

Battery chargers are not battery tenders and battery tenders are not chargers. Keep in mind the name on the one you are looking at is a "BRAND NAME" but that doesn't make it a tender it says right on it "BATTERY CHARGER" 4 amps is to much to "MAINTAIN" a charge. Believe it or not I have 6 battery tenders, I have bought from Harbor Freight that work excellent.

If you like your HF tenders that's fine, but no smart charger outputs a constant amperage, they all have variable outputs for different modes like float. The Battery Tender and Noco absolutely are chargers and tenders both, along with repair and other stuff.

As long as the tender is on they won’t freeze. That’s how they go bad. The one you showed is very good.

I have been using the WATERPROOF DELTRAN BATTERY TENDER®, 12 Volt 800 Milliamp and 12 Volt 1.25 Amp International Battery Chargers for around 15 years. I have one on my Zero Turn lawn mower, and one on my motorcycle. I also have one that isn't waterproof for my power generator. Batteries last around 2 to 3 years longer for me.

I've used Battery Tender brand maintainers for years. I had the GM factory installed battery in my 2001 Corvette last 12 years and the original battery in my current 2014 is also still going strong. Snowmobile batteries have a reputation for being especially crappy and not lasting long, but mine commonly last for the whole time I own the sled which is usually five or six seasons. Of course last year my sled was in a storage unit that didn't have power. I should have removed the battery and kept it on a tender at home but got lazy. Sure enough, a single summer in the storage unit without the maintainer killed it.

On my Ram 2500, most of its miles are in the summer pulling the travel trailer and in the winter it will only be driven maybe once a week or less to pull the snowmobile trailer. This time I went with a 2 Amp NOCO that I mounted under the hood and keep it plugged in when the truck isn't in use. So far, so good. The functionality seems identical to the way the Batter Tender brand units I'm used to.

I have a 1.25 amp Battery Tender,Run the power lead through the grill, never had a problem with it, my OEM battery is going on 4yrs now see how long it lasts!!!
Same here. My '18 RAM's battery "died" twice after not driving it for a couple weeks. Since permanently installing a LEICESTERCN brand tender with that same battery, it's been flawless. I also put one on my zero-turn after it suffered a sluggish start one time.

which NOCO should i get for my Harley Trike
I don't ride it enough & it eats new batteries, because i don't ride it enough
I use a good battery, YUASA brand

I am considering getting this NOCO

I am hoping the desulfinator thingy will save my battery

It's a good charger with the same technology as the bigger ones, just a slower charge rate. I have that one attached to my RV gel battery and it brought it up slowly to full charge, and I have no reservations about leaving it plugged in. I also have the 10A one for quicker charges.
