7-8 lbs. Trans will be the weakest link but if you go beyond the canned Diablo tune Procharger includes with it’s kit.The trans does its torque induced downshifting which makes a dyno tune rough but it can be done with HP and a trans tune.
The top ring land is usually the weakest link, it’s not boost friendly but should be fine in the 8ish psi range with a good tune.

If it’s the 8hp70 it’s not a weak link, they are usually good for 600whp as long as you keep some torque management. If you take all the torque management out that’s when you’re gonna have a bad time.

Procharger already has a centrifugal blower for the hemi etorques. Whipple is working on a positive displacement (twin screw or roots style) top mounted blower. Instant torque /power with the whipple vs the linear power progression with the procharger.
My armchair quarterback response to the centrifugal (CB) vs positive displacement (PD) is that for the typical street application PD will be the way to go. You get linear (meaning easier to control) and impressive overall power. For all out maximum performance/drag strip, either one will work, but CB can be cheaper and more flexible with installation options.
