The rear, you don't need gap guards, but for the front fenders you do. I have a 1.25" body and I can tell I have a body lift. A 3" body and gap guards is a must IMO. Should be the same for 09-12.

Yup!
What Kevin said. Front Gap Guards is a must on the 4th gens.
Got mine on order :naughty:

I believe they attach to the current liner in there.
When I read the instructions it says you will need a drill and a 1/4 bit.
It also says to line it up, drill a hold in the middle and affix it with the clips it comes with and then to do the rest until mounted and to do the same on the other side.

I should have mine this week and get it mounted as I do not like seeing my internals.....LOL

Its actually the last piece to hide the 3" body lift.
Already did my exhaust and CAI and this is all that is left....

I may not be able to use these then, seeing as I trimmed my front liners some! And if I did put them on Id probably rub these too lol. Thanks for the tips!

I'm pretty sure you will be able to use this. I doubt what you trimmed will have any effect on this and if it does, very MINOR!
Even if you have to lift in a 1/4-1/2" higher, its still better than nothing

Do you see everything with your body lift? Yours doesn't seem to be as bad as mine, but then again, pics don't show everything.

Ill be honest with you its not that bad to me..maybe because Im not running a lift on top of the body lift. Unless you poke your head in my fender wells or look at it close. Maybe after you install yours Ill get some, so I can see how they attach! You can be the test dummy :********:

and how the heck do you rust proof???

I dont do this....I take it to a shop that does it.
They basically spray some rust proofing oil in the panels, the underside, etc.
Last about 2 years....so every 2 years I go back.
