The rear, you don't need gap guards, but for the front fenders you do. I have a 1.25" body and I can tell I have a body lift. A 3" body and gap guards is a must IMO. Should be the same for 09-12.
Anyone know how they get attached under there. I had to trim my fenders some so Im worried they wont work for me???
I believe they attach to the current liner in there.
When I read the instructions it says you will need a drill and a 1/4 bit.
It also says to line it up, drill a hold in the middle and affix it with the clips it comes with and then to do the rest until mounted and to do the same on the other side.
I should have mine this week and get it mounted as I do not like seeing my internals.....LOL
I may not be able to use these then, seeing as I trimmed my front liners some! And if I did put them on Id probably rub these too lol. Thanks for the tips!
Ill be honest with you its not that bad to me..maybe because Im not running a lift on top of the body lift. Unless you poke your head in my fender wells or look at it close. Maybe after you install yours Ill get some, so I can see how they attach! You can be the test dummy :********:
Okkk..not calling you a dummy or anything ha! I just wanted them for extra protection more than the looks. But I wont loose any sleep without them lol..Just gives me more money for other mods!
there is no way i could drive my ram on them horrible salt roads, i would buy a beater lmao
and how the heck do you rust proof???
hmm thats pretty legit... would be bad ass for anyone to do lol
