    Clean Freaks

A buddy of mine has a side business of spraying ProFleet film. Its done every fall. Pulls out the tail lights, gets in every crack and crevis. Drills small holes along the door jamb to get into all the areas that are not accessible otherwise. So, is it clean underneath? NOPE. The heavy...

1A Trail Ridge mirrors small issue?

I had to trim down the tab on the passenger side of mine. 30 seconds with a utility knife.

    Looking for towing mirros

My Trail Ridge mirrors are very well made. I ended up buying a pack of 20 rivnuts on Amazon for $6. I installed without tool. Just bought a longer bolt and a couple of nuts. Driver's side I screwed the bolt in and used the nuts to "pull" the rivnut tight. For some reason the passe6side would...

    3.92 or sell

Good Choice. You would not enjoy the pull with your current truck. I Pull a 30' TT with my 1500. Gross Trailer is 7,500# and i would not go higher. 99% of the time, it is an easy drive/pull. Heavy cross winds are another story.

    Looking for towing mirros

I finally ordered a pair of Trail Ridge mirrors. I'm now looking into the additional brackets and hardware. What is so special about those rivnuts that make them so expensive? I can't see what is special about them that they cannot be purchased through a McMaster-Carr in a pack of 25 for just...

    Looking for towing mirros

Thanks. I've been looking at Trail Ridge lately, but they seem to be out of stock for my configuration

    Now I've seen it all...

Friend of mine had a Fram filter blow apart while driving around town. Same thing happened to my nieghbor while delivering new travel trailers to dealers. 1st was a Chevy S10 and the other was a 2500 Ram with Cummins.

Help a new TT owner out...

I tow a 30' ultra light with a Gross of 7,500. my 1500 pulls it not problem. BUT I would not pull anything longer with a half ton as travel trailers are pretty big sails back there and even with an Equal-I-zer hitch. If it were me, I wouldn't put my family in that truck/trailer combo. Seen...

    Looking for towing mirros

I have a '17 big horn with black power folding, heated, puddle lamps, turn signals, and auto dimming mirrors. Is there an equivalent in a towing mirror? I have a set of cheap add ons for pulling the camper, but I hate them. thanks

Hey just found this cool light switch in the bed!

My guess is not very well. It only has 21k and was paid for when we drove it off the lot........AND we just bought a new camper. She wanted a bigger one, but I said not with a 1/2 ton. Guess I screwed that one up.

Hey just found this cool light switch in the bed!

Guess I need to trade my '17 off so I can have a switch ;). At least that is the "line" I'll tell the wife why I need to trade....

    Just got in an accident

Sucks. I've hit several deer here in Iowa. There are as many deer as people I think. I live a few miles from Iowa's oldest state park and have counted 146 at one time in one spot eating just outside the park. it was deer season and just past the legal time to shoot. They know and were out...

tonneau cover, driving me crazy trying to decide.

I have the Extang rolling soft cover. I see their prices have gone up. GREAT costumer service....even after 9 years. Just before I traded my '08 off, the velcro on the sides of the rails were not holding. emailed them and in 4 days, I had free replacement velcro strips to slide on. I bought...

Who all uses their trucks like a truck!? Let’s see pics!

Almost bought an Imagine last weekend. Only reason we didn't is they don't have quite the floor plan we wanted. Seem to be a well built trailer. Why air bags? Properly installed WDH, and you shouldn't have more than an 1" of sag anyway.

Looking to buy a TT, feeling a bit overwhelmed...

I just sold my Keystone Passport 2920BH. Was a great camper. 7,500 lbs gross. My '08 Ram pulled it pretty good, my '17 pulls it much better. I'm now on the hunt for a new one. Looking at the Grand Design Imagine 2500RL. Last of the kids are off to college this fall, so the bunk house isn't...
