I had a similar situation with my 2014. Lots of whine and groan while on our way back from Vegas. I had a local shop rebuild/replace the gears and regear it with 3.91’s and a true trac and all new bearings. I then installed a tuner to adjust for the change in gearing and the tires. No noise now...
Are you sure you got each of the pushrods back into their cups on the rocker arms? A very common mistake that will give symptoms similar to what you are describing.
Here is my 4th gen 2wd with the MaxTrac 4.5 inch lift. My profile has pictures of it when I first bought it and this is a current pic. I am running Method NV 20X9 on 35" BFG KO2's. No rubbing or issues and rides great. I am installing the MaxTrac forged upper A-arms soon too.
I have the 4.5 maxtrac Fox lift and I run 285/65/r20's or 34.6 tires just fine. There is one thing i have noticed coming from Ford and GM trucks. These Rams don't tolerate a lot of lift. Especially in 2wd. Also going to a hellwig rear sway bar helped the road manners tremendously.
