I have a V6 and use it similar to what you are asking. It has more than enough power for my needs. If you like to flat-foot it and like a V8 rumble then you'd be better off with the Hemi. I have a liter-bike that I use for my "fun" transportation :)- 2016outdoorsman

17's or 20's
I've got 17's and really like the look better! Everyone and they brother has 20-22" wheels, and in my opinion it's overdone. Also, Jeeps are now stock with 285/70-17's. So you can find cheap used ones all over now. :)- 2016outdoorsman

I know bigger tires will get worse mileage, along with the computer showing incorrect mileage too. proably 1mpg total difference. What are the advantages to getting it changed to the correct diameter? The mileage being off doesn't really bother me. I drive my vehicles into the ground no matter...- 2016outdoorsman

Ok, my stock 2106 Ram outdoorsman had 265/70-17 tires. I upgraded to 285/70-17's a while back. I assume the gas miles my computer shows is incorrect because of that size difference? Seeing the new tires are 3.5% larger, I assume I can add that to the computers mileage to get my corrected gas...- 2016outdoorsman
