Add amp to 2017 Ram 8.4 radio
I am looking at that amp also. Did you just use a T-harness or did you need some additional components? I have the factory 8.4 with 6 speakers and want to keep the OEM headunit. Crutchfield is telling me i need to use the Rockford Fosgate DSR1.- 5pt7BigHornSC

Unless you are keeping it a few more years I probably wouldn’t. Mine is 2019 classic and only had 13k miles. I will keep it probably 4 or 5 years so it was a no brainer for me. Completely worth it. Between seats, console and door panels I spent about $2k but I sold my seals and door panels for about $1200. Worth it even without selling what I had.
