    Unimog and trailer (9500 lbs) tows no problem.Trailer has big brakes so it stops good. Runs cool even in 115 vegas heat. do keep trips under 1.5 hours truck is rated for 9950 lbs

    Towed the Unimog and trailer (9500 lbs ) 8 times now. Truck is rated for 9950 llbs. Trailer ihas 8 lug 16" rims with big brakes so it stops good.Truck has no issurres even in 115 heat. I do keep trips under 1.5 hours long.

    Train Horns?

    With a proper train horn valve you can control the volume. Used them in parades with no issures because you can keep the sound level down to a point that the stock air horns are louder

    I had Nathan k5hl horns on my 5 ton front fender.Also had the correct train horn valve on the dash. Sold the truck but kept the setup. Thinking about mounting on my wifes 1500 4x4 sport.

    Winch Max Capacity

    I have a 17500lbs winch on my ram. I like the bigger winch for a bigger cable[1/2 inch] and top layer cap of 11500lbs.Also draws less amps because it dosenot work as hard pulling. Its mounted in a very heavy duty trail ready bumper. Bumper and winch weight is over 500 lbs.

    Can i tow 9400lbs with 37" tires

    Thankyou for the replys. The weight I gave is worst case. The Unimog weight is beteew5500 to 7000lbs yet to bring to a scale. Could also buy an aluminum trailer to save some LBS and switch to smaller tires.We go offroad ofton with the ram but if we take the Unimog maybe once a month out the ram...

    Can i tow 9400lbs with 37" tires

    I have a 2016 ram 1500 4x4 with a hemi 8 speed and 3.91 rear.It has 37x13.5 tires. I want to tow a car trailer with a Unimog total weight of about 9400 lbs. Ram rates it for a max towing weight of 9970lbs. Any thoughts how well it might do?

    Brush / Grill Guard - post em' if you got em'

    I have a trailready grillguard bumper. Very heavy duty [300 lbs) and 17500 lbs winch mounted in it that brings the total to almost 500 lbs. I think a lot of thing hitting it might just scratch the poweder coat.

    I have a trailready bumper grill guard. It weight is 300 lbs and very heavy duty and I mounted a 17.5k winch in it I think it could take a deer hit with no damage. The bad part is it cost 2600.00 bucks. Mike
