vinyl wrap interor trim and tow mirrors

Here's a link to a thread about wrapping interior trim, there's a lot of useful info, photos and how-to's. If you have further questions about anything, let me know and I'll do my best the help! https://www.ramforum.com/threads/interior-vinyl-wrap.114953/ Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

    Interior Vinyl Wrap

I'll have to get some shots of my headlights. They have Morimoto guts to them, but they're slightly modified quad headlight housings. Almost the same output for a fraction of the cost if you're good at DIY. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Interior Vinyl Wrap

I was thinking the same thing with the door handles, but they look like a major PITA to wrap, so I decided they look fine the way they are and help tie in the other odd bits of chrome I can't quite get rid of Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Interior Vinyl Wrap

I was looking at those photos thinking "hey, that looks familiar!". It looks great tho! I think the color scheme looks even better on your door panels that are all black with the black leather armrests. Nice job! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I must say, your truck looks absolutely amazing! If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick up that grille from? I'd love to convert mine from the stock big horn. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

For extra clarification, you also need to cut the blue ones to get the silver/ chrome trim ring off as it's layered behind the armrest pad. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Here's some photos of the door trim. I also used 3M's brushed black metallic, so this is what it'll look like if you decide to go with it: Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Interior Vinyl Wrap

I used a high heat soldering iron that has flat/ wide tips for melting plastic to melt everything back together. I just used a drill to drill the centers out to get the pieces separated. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Grille Options/Opinions

Thanks! The bumper is also wrapped. I found a spray paint that matches the vinyl almost perfectly to paint the parking sensors so they match as well. The slats are pretty easy to wrap once you remove them from the grille. They just pop out from the back. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Grille Options/Opinions

Thanks man! It's actually not paint at all, everything that's gray or red is actually vinyl wrap. Unless you're right up on the vehicle it's hard to tell tho. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Grille Options/Opinions

Another option to consider is vinyl wrap. It's relatively inexpensive versus a new grill. Also, I agree that blacked out headlights might be a good option on your black truck, they did wonders to mine: Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Unique Handle swap

Looks great! I second that it's a PITA to separate the handle from the housing. I did something similar to mine since I removed all the other chrome on the truck. The only difference is, I vinyl wrapped the chrome to a satin metallic gray instead. I think I like the approach you took better...

    Interior Vinyl Wrap

I actually drilled the ends of the welds off to get them apart and used a soldering iron with a flat tip to melt them back together. Not the best solution, but I have no intentions of ever taking it back apart.

    Interior Vinyl Wrap

So it's been a while since I've had time to mess with my truck, but I've made some more changes! I wanted to match the door panels to the dash, but was a little intimidated by the plastic welds holding everything together. It wasn't as bad as I thought, a little time consuming though. So here's...
