Are you looking for more of an sq subwoofer or are you looking for sheer output?
Like mentioned above, the 12w6, AF GB12's, I love the ARC Black 12's, but these would be geared towards sound quality.
Use butyl based deadener tiles on inside of door panel to tame resonances on large flat areas which are prone to resonate...and where two or more plastic pieces merge together. There are a lot of small panel attachments on the inside of the panels...those will resonate if not treated. google...
You need to adjust your amp gains first. Set gains for maximum bass (does not mean crank your gains up too far...gain is not a volume knob and neither is your bass knob)
With gains set, your knob will give you the ability to LOWER the gains for certain music...not raise the gains any higher...
NO
I ran 35's for 98,000 miles on my last Ram....let's just cut the crap...Ram doesn't want to replace your trans cause it costs them money and you having a larger than factory tire gives them leverage in their argument. Now if you went to 40 inch tires then I could see their argument...but you...
Its been years but when I ran measured the available airspace of a foxbox (dual 12 vented) once I had the enclosure in hand...fox acoustics claimed 3.3cu/ft...but their port volume was included in the available airspace volume, which is kinda misleading. Port volume should be it's own...
This guy nailed...when you model their subs, their recommended enclosure volume is really slimmed down...usually for marketing reasons. Everyone wants smaller enclosures and are not as willing to build the bigger enclosures these subs need to REALLY excel. Many many manufacturers are guilty of...
touchless car washes use acid....it aint soap. Its a High ph acid, then a low ph acid...dwell time...high pressure. your coating will not last if you use touchless washes
Our wants, needs, and expectations vary...but I agree with this. The factory enclosure and available power just doesn't cut it for ME. You could put a really nice subwoofer in the factory enclosure and it would sound like **** (even if airspace requirements were perfect for said sub) The...
More like full throttle plus 3psi of boost
But If we're using hot rod analogies...putting 10w7's in a fox box is like running a high compression big block stroker motor with a Y-pipe & 2" single exhaust
