    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

Stock with about 23,000 miles on it and probably a couple hundred pounds worth of tools. These 2500's got some weight to them vs the 1500. 4.10s in mine would just = more tire spin. I am up in the Shrevport/Bossier area. Getting ready for this 82 degree Christmas day. Crazy Southern weather. :33:

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

That is pretty good for a heavy 3500 LB gasser. I might be able to pull a 14.9 Stock if I launched hard in 4WD and some good DA. I need this truck for my work/business though. Don't want to tear it up.

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

Finally got around to testing the truck on the big tires. 20,000 miles later, so the tires were not quite as grippy, but still better than stock Firestones. https://youtu.be/FctNCtiXRCc

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

Been pretty busy with my new business. Eventually I will do the same test spot on the 35's.

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

Dragy GPS with their app. It is accurate to within .1 compared to a real drag strip.

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

May loose some acceleration, but gain traction. Might be a wash, but these new tires grip way better off and on road than the stock Firestones.

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

I actually pulled a best of 15.7, but didn't get video. That is the same time my 2020 1500 V6 ran, but with a slightly lower trap speed. The 2500 could probably pull some low 15s with traction. I didn't buy it to be a race truck, but just wanted to know what it would do. A blower would sure be...

    Stock 6.4 2500 4x4 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed

I sold my 2020 1500 to Carvana for $4,000 more than I paid for it and put it towards a 2021 2500 Tradesman with 3.73 rear end. When I searched google, I couldn't really find any performance stats for the 6.4. So I wanted to do a test before I put the 35s on. Here are the results on the horrible...

    31" to 29" Tires = the same as 3.21 to 3.55 gear?

Yeah the local dealer is trying to sell me on a 14k 14LD, which is more heavy duty for only a few hundred dollars more and only a few hundred pounds extra empty weight. If I only haul a 2-3 tons I should be good, given the weight ratings of my truck and take it easy.

    31" to 29" Tires = the same as 3.21 to 3.55 gear?

Thanks for the info! We are in a pretty flat area, so I think I'll be alright. I'm actually thinking about stepping up to the 10k 6x12 Big Tex 90SR with ramps and keeping it under 7k loaded. That way I can haul my B3300SU tractor as well. Then once I get my 2500 truck in about 6 months I can...

    31" to 29" Tires = the same as 3.21 to 3.55 gear?

Dedication! Sounds like you got a keeper for sure. I have two little tikes right now, so when I am not working I try to give them as much time as I can. Maybe when they get in their teens and don't want to hang out with me anymore I'll get something fast again. Lol Just so ya'll know I'm not...

    31" to 29" Tires = the same as 3.21 to 3.55 gear?

Its a bare bones 2wd that I picked up for $19,500 at the peak of COVID lock downs. Could probably get all my money back on trade for a 2500, but got to watch my finances until the new house is finished.

    31" to 29" Tires = the same as 3.21 to 3.55 gear?

Nice rides! They closed our local drag strip down a couple years ago. :(

    31" to 29" Tires = the same as 3.21 to 3.55 gear?

Yes sir. That's why I am saying it seems only limitation is gearing/power. So I'm about to put this little V6 to work and try to make some $$$ to put towards a big boy truck.

What tonneau cover do you have?

I went with a Gator EFX hard cover on my new truck. Set me back about 3x the cost of the soft cover I had on my old truck. I wanted something a little more secure and hopefully hold up better. Thought about a camper shell, but to much $$$. This was a good in between for the price. It's...
