    180 or 190 Thermostat

Not sure which front grill you have. The horizontal bar grill flows less air than the mesh grill. I swapped to an OEM mesh and have seen 5-6 degree average drop from my previous bar grill. You can buy mesh inserts that replace the bars, or buy a complete grill.

Ram 1500 Rev Electric Pickup Shockingly Sells Out Quick

Even though some were disappointed that the Ram 1500 Rev didn’t end up as wild and innovative as the concept, it didn’t seem to matter.

Tried adding Hot Shots. Now stuck with a hose sticking out of my fuel tank <sigh>

like you, I discovered simply pushing open the trap door didn’t let me pour treatment in without it making a mess. There’s apparently some sort of second barrier under the trap door. I found a long neck narrow funnel that gets down into the filler neck enough for adding the treatment with out...

Fog Lights are driving me mad

I had the same fog light issue with my 2014 ED. There are no fuse blocks in the traditional sense: The canbus handles all the lights. I bought a knockoff replacement switch assembly and have no problems since. It's a simple swap out. You may be missing the round knob fog light push indicator...

    Moving to Germany, Got questions

Just my opinion, but unless you are really tied to your truck, I'd sell it now when truck prices are high, then purchase a Euro vehicle for the three years. You could then order a new RAM through the PX/BX for delivery when you return. A lot less headaches, and you will enjoy the assignment a...

    NAV updates not free?!?!

Yea, quite irksome, but RAM is hardly the first or only to see profit in ongoing updates and subscriptions. Several upper-level brands have floated subscriptions for such features as remote start and access to Apple CarPlay. "Now that over-the-air updates are becoming commonplace on today’s...

    Explaining Torque and Horsepower

Here's a good read explaining horsepower, torque, and how they relate. I understood the relationship in general, but this really gave me a better grasp of it. Both Horsepower and Torque Play Into Speed and Towing Both Horsepower and Torque play into Speed and Towing

Building a new garage, what do you wish you had...

I wish I'd have put in a floor drain when building a pole shop. In winter I have to sweep out melting ice/snow every time I return from a trip into town. A drain would have been a good investment.

    Strange sound at shift points

I have a 2014 ED 4X4 with 135k miles. I just started hearing a soft whooshing, almost fluid sound at transmission shifts and and trailing off after 1-3 seconds. It was very faint to begin, but after several weeks has gotten a little louder and “gravely” sounding. It is loudest after warmup...

    2022 Ram 1500, 2500.....Yawn

I’ve had three 1500s with the dial: two 4th Gen and a 5 th Gen. I appreciate that the dial opens up the console for all my temporary stuff while out and about. As mentioned, the foot-on-brake to shift or to move the truck are safety ‘features’ that are baked into the transmission control...

How do you remove the panel under the hood

I had to replace one of the washer nozzles that broke at the hose connector. Pop the round retaining clips with a body panel tool (Harbor Freight). Recommend you buy some replacement clips such as these...
