Dealership turned off dashcam before service

I literally couldn't back my truck out of the garage. I had to toggle the system off. Yes, it slams on the brakes.

Dealership turned off dashcam before service

In todays times, you don't need a dash cam to understand what the tech is doing. They don't know what they're doing. And it doesn't matter...Ram, Ford, Chevy, etc etc. There's not enuf space here for me to tell you all of my experiences. I've worked on cars my whole life, but, unfortunately...

LOL. I found out on the day I bought this truck, I couldn't even get out of my garage. Rear sensors have been disabled since day 1.

    $2500 Brake job cost?

It's how they make their money. Been doing it for years, and doing stuff that doesn't need to be done. Doesn't matter..Dodge, GM, Ford...they all do it. I know of many instances where people have come to me after getting an estimate and half of the stuff didn't need to be done. Such a shame...

Doing the Power stop pads and rotor upgrade

Every vehicle I own, when it's time for brakes/rotors, I put the Powerstop slotted and drilled with pads. My DW thinks the road between our house and Wal Mart is Watkins Glen, but even she can't wear them out. I figure I've saved a lot of money putting these on as opposed to the junk at the...

    Remanufactured calipers

Just my opinion...I don't know what you paid for the remans, but I would venture that if you would have checked out rockauto, their price would have been very competitive for BRAND NEW. Delivery is a matter of days. I have done a lot of business with them for many years....never had any...

Sad first post. 2022 Laramie problems.

Show me any car dealers service department that cares or who knows what they're doing. If you can, it will be the first one I've ever seen in my life, and I'm an old dude. And, if you think they care, they've buffaloed you, too.

    2020 Ram 1500 Mud Flaps

Hal, On the bottom-most hole, I have one of those factory plastic push-pins. Did you remove the pin and use the metal clip/screw Husky provided or just put in the new screw. Just wondering what you did and if it worked well. TX B

    Magnetic Oil Drain Plugs

Just bought this Ram. Just wondering if anyone is using a magnetic oil drain plug. I've had some vehicles in the past that came from the factory with one, but no the Ram. Is it worth it? Seeing any metal fragments? Also, any recommendations on oil/filter types. TX B

    2020 Ram 1500 Mud Flaps

Delic, Did you have to take the tires off to drill the 4th hole. This is what I like about the WeatherTech's. No tire removal necessary. Not that I can't do it, but I'm LAZY !!

    2020 Ram 1500 Mud Flaps

damfarm....TX for that. I noticed on the weathertech that the holes perfectly match what's on the Ram. The Husky's have a "quick connect" system which makes me wonder, however they say they fit with absolutely no problems. Again, TX !!

    Cow Catcher, steel bumpers

Are you guys saying the "Cow Catcher" has sensors in it? I thought it was just a matter of the Cow Catcher blocking the sensors on the front bumper of the Ram ??? TX
