insight in buying this truck please

I think you can do better down South. If you lived in CA I'd say otherwise. Just for comparison, not saying it was a good deal, I saw a 2014 Tradesman with 155k on the lot locally and they were asking $55k. Central CA coast with a lot of cattle ranchers and short on trucks so they may have...

    MoPar nightmare...what would you do?

When it comes to warranties, dealers (service managers and service writers) depend on someone you rarely see and may never get to see (or even know exists) but you can try. This person can make or break your warranty experience: The warranty clerk. They go to warranty schools for the different...

1st timer on this Guys . My names Bob i live in sw fla . Ive got a 05 2500 cummins that i bought new it has 330k

Correction to my prior post....looking over Meckenna's posts once again it appears the probe misplacement was on the 2003 model, but double-check what he says in his post #73. The solder (or lack of) issues were on the 2005 model and he posts very detailed instructions on his post #103.

The above referenced thread is Outstanding and headed by Chris MecKenna who appears to be an engineer. He has delved very deeply into icing-up of 3rd gen RAMs, specifically 2002-2005 models. Part of his discovery was 1) the '05 (I believe the 2500 at least) switched over to a different evap...

Question regarding current used vehicle market sales

Just a couple of thoughts: 1. You're in CA. Expect to pay sales tax on the full purchase price even if you trade your vehicle in. It's treated like a down-payment. Calculate your sales tax by the city you live in not the location of the dealership. 2. Dealers here normally go by KBB and not...

What did you do to your Gen3 today?

Recently purchased a low-mileage (29,800), one-owner, all stock, great running 5.9L. First crack at improvements will be reliability upgrades. Goal is to carry a slide-in camper. Pulled the trigger today and ordered the following from TB Diesel (gotta love Wade's installation vids): - FASS...
