    Would This Camper Be Pushing The Limit?

    OK so here's my 2 cents. I had the same truck 2016 1500 Laramie 5.7 hemi 3.21 gears. My payload on the door sticker 1179 lbs. GVWR 6900, GAWR rear 3900. My travel trailer, Winnebago 26rbss. 6600 dry, 8800 GVWR. Advertised hitch weight 750 lbs. Now for the real weights. Fully loaded...

    Camper towing

    I pull a 26 travel trailer with my 1500 3.21 gears. Power no problem. Add Airlift 1000’s to stiffen up the springs. Added sumosprings also. Helps reduce or eliminate pogoing. Use a Blue Ox weight distribution hitch. All works well together. Trailer weighs about 7500 - 7800 loaded.

    Travel Trailer, about 7600 lbs loaded. Have pulled it about 4000 miles total so far .

    Why did you buy your truck?

    Pull a boat, and a travel trailer. Before I retired, needed to haul my butt, to work in the winter.
