What I can't make any sense of is that if its in fact a model
Bw 44-46 tc then why does the owners Manuel call for
Bw 44-44 oil? Any ideas or proof on that one because I just want to be more sure in getting the right stuff and not just what a parts tech told me.

Im in n. Arizona and mine only works on a cool morning maybe 20% of the time. When I say cool, its not really bad but I'm assuming anything below 50* would kick on the preset warming functions with auto start.
Back when my 20 ram had the cp4 glitter bomb I used hot shot lx4 for 2 years and it worked great for us and did what it was supposed to do. So all though it wasn't an oil additive I can speak to my experience with hot shot and there product and I highly endorse them.
We're In N Arizona and our delayed start count down for the grid heater still comes on every morning this time of year, i believe it comes on anytime it's below 60 * outside. Yah know the old wait to start for glow plugs light:p

I replaced my junk nexen fronts at 30k with coopers and the back 4 nexens are still original and wearing perfectly evenly though there getting down there in tread depth, knock on wood.
