With the new systems you need something for the sat the nav and the amp i left my head unit in and got a 1200 watt system installed even the guy there said why replace your head unit its got sat nav blue tooth and can hold a **** load of songs lol so that saved me 1k but ya to replace the head...- blackout11

Yes they are flush but might want a cut out if you hit a bump and the pos hits that metal thats going to be an electrical night mare its not really flush id rather be safe then sorry i have covers on mine but if you leave the heat cover on it will be fine but that cover would not work for...- blackout11
