I've started looking at new trucks and have driven an F250 and a RAM 2500.I've always read that the Ford rides the roughest of the 3 brands, but the one I drove was definitely smoother than the RAM. Battery suggestions....
I bought a Walmart battery 4 years ago because that was the only place near me that had my battery in stock. I've gone 85,000 miles since then with no problems. It fired right up at -13 yesterday.- blrmkrl83

My Ram is getting old
Didn't have anything wrong with mine until last January at 102,000. That's when the battery took a crap. I would consider that a normal life expectancy for a battery. I think it was around 105,000 when the right exhaust manifold started leaking. I'm at 126,000 now and the left manifold started...- blrmkrl83

New ram owner, slightly put off.
I was a bit leery of jumping off the Chevy boat too. I'm so glad I did. I have 106,000 miles on mine now. Quick gas question
I always ran the 89 with ethanol until they switched it about 3 years ago. I've run the 87 with ethanol since then and haven't noticed any difference or had any problems. How well will my truck tow?
I'm going to use my truck as an example and you can make your own decision on that trailer. I have an '11 QC 4x4 3.92 gear and LT275/70R17 tires. The GVWR is 6700, GCWR is 15,500.
