    bought a kit off of Jay Greene a couple of years back. Did timing chain/tensioner and water/oil pumps too. Only thing I regret not doing at the same time as install was valve seals.

    After going down a YouTube rabbit hole, I've come to this conclusion too. Will need to diagnose a bit more and swap out any part that's not working. The one headlight thing is very annoying.
