Got a 2019 too, you don't need the additive because there is no clutch pack. It's Torsen ( ? )
Used Amsoil SEVERE GEAR® 75W-90, brake cleaner and reused the gasket. ( It's the reusable kind )
Good luck and send pics
:drunk:
Mine are all lighted too.
I was surprised to see those orange bottom strip DRLs accepted in Canada.
What is a pain is to not be able to turn them off in drive-thrus... It still lights the car in front lol
It works well!
Here's a partial review.
I'll split this in 3 categories.
Empty/low load ( 400 lbs in my case ):
Timbrens at 1" from axle
Rides as usual but the rear taps when hitting deep long holes or very harsh road bumps.
So a somewhat harsher ride at city speed with lunar surfaced...
Yep!
Those dual really mask well.
Alignment and tire balance at next shop time.
I had a 2015 JK that started to wobble. Well the damper was shot at only 15-20K so I replaced the PW's damper right away.
I may trade soon for a Ford though.
Here in Québec, we are still in lockdown.
No school, no...
Hi Andrew,
I'm Canadian too and paid 60 000$. It was listed at 64 000$ after the incentives.
Bought in July 2019. Only options is level one luxe ( they all it ) and ramboxes.
At 70 000$ well equipped, in the ''pandemic'', I think you have good price.
Hopes this gives you a ballpark.
As for...
The dampers are pretty much straight. That pic made them look really crooked.
Well, now you make me want to try it the other way.
I might get to it next week. 30 min work and some testing.
I'll keep you posted
Hey all,
Just installed a set of Timbrens in the back yesterday to help the squat when hauling 1000+ lbs.
( always 400 lbs with the ramboxes and a quad and trailer )
Unloaded test run was a success.
Loaded test run will happen next week end ( 17-18 )
I'm not convince it's the best way to go...
