When I purchased this truck in 2017 I was living in New England. I am now in South Carolina and just stuck with the 5w30. I wonder if switching to 10w30 would be better now I am in a hotter climate. My RAM only has 27K miles on it as it does sit in the garage most of the time.- bspippin

Thanks Burla, After the reading I feel like I should receive some kind of certificate or something. Man you guys are really deep, although my Ram and I appreciate your knowledge. Hello - I am needing to do an oil change. I have been using Redline 5w30 and RP 20-820 filter. I have looked everywhere and can find a filter. Can anyone point me where I can find one or the next best equivalent? Appreciate it Brian- bspippin
