Sadly gone are the days of the 25 bucks per corner shock installs, it wasn't that long ago, but since manu's have gotten stupid with what it takes to replace shocks, it has transformed what independents can charge. MPG? The hornet is a super star IMHO, but it is kids car, they invested heavy in making a zippy suv as opposed to marketing it to grownups like the rav 4. Plus they are 4 grand higher on MSRP, when Toyota launched a rav 4 light Corolla crossover that is 4k less, so you can get a Corolla cross...- Burla

If it were me, I'd do it every oil change or once a year if you are changing oil every 6 mos. I'd be more tuned to have it on a mileage deal then an oil change if you are changing your oil more often then recommended, but I'd always change the oil on the next tank after initial application...- Burla

Transmission code 0734 with 73,000 miles on 2014 2500.
If it ends up a torque converter you should build up the valve body and new solenoid, in theory you address weakness of rfe and hopefully transmission is fine.- Burla

Just push the button on the dash, all it does is change shift points to keep the transmission in higher rpm and out of MDS, it is harmless. Report back- Burla

Looking for new Shocks
I'd still get bills, not HD but 5100 series. I had both, HD are too firm, ride height adjust is a great feature, and changes firmness, at 2.8 a lot of travel but less firm then 2.1. 2.1 is likely better on ball joints and cv joints as less travel would help that. Try driving in tow haul see if it still does this. So you are saying from many different gears it will just slip into neutral? So if not what gears slip into neutral, overdrive for sure.- Burla
