I find mine opens half of the time with the key in my pocket to auto unlock the door for me unless my hands are full in the rain. Then I have to dig through my pockets and use the unlock button on the fob what feels like every time.

These guys sell everything needed to delete air suspension including a new button cluster to eluminate the buttons and they send out a programmer to remove it from the bcm for a refundable deposit if needed
Word of warning that the dash speakers at 4ohms may be a bit too much. Most guys opt to add a resistor to the dash speakers to cut a few db and keep them more in line with the door speaker volume.
