In regards to coolant & oil temps. Yes, I am accustomed to seeing them change/track in unison. Just not so dramatically, that is my concern.
So I feel like I'm hearing a constant humming(whirring, pump motor running, poss. fan spinning, but not rad. fan) from the front of the radiator on the driver side.....
It's not the radiator fan, it's not the A.C., not the defroster.

Right on. Yes, always low low speeds, of neutral when engaging 4-low.

Hello all! Running a 2017 Ram 1500, 4×4, CC, 392gears, approx. 35,500kms, bone stock.
We got about 4" of snow overnight here in S. Alberta. It was quite warm when the snow started to fall which melted, then froze overnight. Had a whiteknuckle drive this morn!

Question, so does that mean my 17' Ram 1500 SLT, 5.7, 6-speed, 4×4, CC, Shortbed, has the same thermal management unit? I do have a "temp gage" as part of my cluster. Or is it a component that's needed only for the 8-speed trans? Thanks.
It was too easy. Can't remember the exact cost, did it a few years ago. I did purchase them from a dealership, they came w/directions and torque specifications. The installation of the hooks themselves took all of about 7mins! The longest/hardest part was nothching out the plastic...
