I have a 2009 1500 Quad Cab and I know that spacers are made to raise up the rear folding seat. Anyone have any opinions as to which lots are best? And where to buy them? Thanks.
I have a 2009 1500 SLT with the two cigarette lighters in the front center console. I want to swap one of them out to a USB port so I will not need an adapter anymore. Has anyone done this before? How did you do it and where did you get the parts? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I've noticed over the past few months that every 4-6 weeks after resetting the time that the digital clock will loose 2-3 minutes. I believe that if I left it alone it would continue to lose time. Is there a battery for the clock in the radio? Any suggestions?
I'm a bigger guy with a 2009 1500 4x4. I'm planning on changing the transmission filter and fluid (for the first time since I've owned it). What kind do you use?
I'm about to do a transmission filter change. I normally use Mobil 1 products, but they don't make a fully synthetic ATF +4 for my 2009 1500 4x4. I plan on using the same fluid in my transfer case and power steering system. I'm leaning towards Amsoil but I can't just go to the auto parts store...
I love in the Mason City/Clear Lake IA area and I'm looking for recommendations for places to get my 2009 1500 detailed, including the engine. Being that Mason City is a "smaller town" there are no full service car wash companies in the area. Any help will be appreciated.
I'm looking for suggestions for a Christmas wreath that I can attach to the chrome grill of my 2009 Ram. Ideally I'd like it to be relatively soft so it doesn't damage the grill. Hoping to spread some good cheer and to make my own holiday season better. Any help would be most appreciated. Merry...
From what I remember is that after you install the new switch the plunger should be out far enough to contact the brake pedal, and the brake lights should be off. I would try pumping the brakes a few times to make sure they work properly. Once he switch is in the proper place there should be an...
It looks like the brake pedal is back far enough, but I'm not a mechanic. Before I replaced the brake light switch I was able to manually turn the brake lights on and off by moving the plunger in and out. If the brake lights work properly then I would guess that its the switch. I got mine from a...
I have a 2009 Ram 4x4 1500 and I'm about to do a transmission service. Could anyone give me any recommendations on where to get a decent pan with a drain plug. I've heard that some aftermarket ones don't do properly. Any help would be appreciated.
Two days ago I realized that both the rear brake lights on my Ram stayed on. I checked all the lights and headlight switch. I checked the brake fluid. The only explanation I could find was that there is a gap between the brake pedal and the stoplight switch. Is there an adjustment to either the...
After several trips to the dealer about my key fob issues, it turns out the remote start is defective. Once they disabled the remote start the lock/unlock buttons started to work reliably. I want to replace the old remote start and still use the factory key fobs. What have you done and what are...
