I could tell you all a story on my Momma's 1980 Datsun B210 silver station wagon...
Her very first brand new car she ever bought....
I was a project kid.... a a neighborhood kid was a huge bully...
One day he bullied me.. again, this was the 80's and I was late single digits for dang sure...
You're welcome.
I'd still get it checked out, thoroughly!
$19K USD is not a small amount of cash.
If you like it and feel it is worth it, spend a few hundred USD and get it thoroughly checked at an independent shop that you really trust... that's my advice ;)
I am currently running 2100W of external Kenwood amps (two in total to make 2100W) in my 4th Gen Warlock with 9 x speakers and 2 x 10" competition subs with zero issues whatsoever. Plus pushing the stock Alpine amp, too (for the two roof speakers and the dash mounted center channel).
However...
Let me tell you a story about a Valliant!
I don't know the year, but it was mid to late 70's for dang sure...
I was a kid in late single to early double digits.. and my Mom had it in the mid to late 80's...
It was a slant-6.. I remember that hands down!
and it was blue with a blue/checkered...
If you have the ability to run the VIN through a dealership and see what has been done in terms of warranty work it may help you to know what, if any, warranty work has ever been done on this truck.
It can be a risk purchasing a used truck that is already 8+ years old with 170-miles on it ...
I'm going to say new tires, too!
When a tire is brand new the rolling resistance is greater, per se, then when they break in.
Caveat to this though, and albeit your rig is lower mileage, but a 2015 according to your sig... Have you taken off your throttle body and given it a good inspection...
As one who owned a 19" Express Sport with the colour matched front and blacked out quads and bumpers vs my new Warlock two/tone front end and projectors....
You can't compare the two whatsoever... IMHO!
Each has its own unique flare and style.
Now owning the Warlock with the two-tone front...
My new Warlock Classic sits on 5100's all around with the fronts set at 2.1" raised.. all on the stock springs. I also have a 3.92 and that absolutely adds to the equation as well ;)!!!
I also run LT295/65R20's (equivalent to 35's) all around for my summer set up... my MPG is really subjective...
If you're going to install aftermarket speakers in the doors and dash... lots better to consider then Alpine ;)
I personally have Focal speakers in my doors and dash as they have deliver high quality detail and clarity.
There are many out there that will provide much better sound quality over...
Well.... I'll be one of the first to chime in to this one.... ;)
With all due respect... you being a member here since 2016 and only having 56 posts tells me you haven't been keeping yourself apprised of the nuances of the 5.7 HEMI engine. If you were, you wouldn't have written this diatribe...
