    1981 D150

This is an example of what we have in my area. It's a V-6 instead of the slant six (my personal preference would be the slant six)...

    Spacers or Not?

Newer wheels I am thinking about installing on my 93 D150 and the original wheels. Just by looking, I can tell the offset is drastically different. I was hoping someone on the forum has actually made the swap and could help me with sourcing the proper spacers.

    Wiper Arm for 1992 D 150

Seeing as no one else has answered, I'll give it a try. The wiper motor used by the d150 is the same wiper motor used in several Dodge vehicles as far back as the 1970's (and it's still readily available). The blades on the d150 are 18" so it follows that that any 18" wiper arm that fits that...

    Spacers or Not?

I want to install 2016 wheels (17") from a Gen 4 Ram1500 on my 93 D150. Bolt pattern is the same on both and I know that the offset is different, but I've read here and in other groups conflicting accounts: 1) I will need two-inch spacers and 2) I will not need spacers. Has anyone on the forums...

    Broken Tailgate Rod clip replacement

Thanks for the post. Mine broke and I tried the Dorman variety pack and couldn't get the ones that looked like they work to snap into the hole on the handle. i'll try the GM's.

    Anyone Installed one of these?

Auto Meter A- Pillar Pod I really want a tach, but don't light my mounting options. Would love to see a pic of one mounted. https://www.autometer.com/2-1-16-single-pod-dodge-ram-86-93.html

    Your other vehicle

My "other" ride is a 2008 Honda Element with four wheel drive. It's great in the snow and rain and I love the driving position and visibility. Gets decent gas mileage and it's wonderful for hauling stuff inside the cargo area. I haul my two German Shepherds everywhere. Wish they still made them...

    Wiring harness

PaPitt- Quinn is from my Northern Irish ancestors. Unfortunately, I don't know. American Autowire and Wiringo.com make custom harnesses, and LMC truck makes a universal harness, but I have never used any of them. I went the parts truck route. The good news is, you should have more aftermarket...

    Wiring harness

I couldn't find one for an 88 d150. There are companies that will custom make (recreate) your harness, but they are very pricey. A decent parts truck might be your best bet...

What size engine do I have?

If you plan to drive it regularly and if the front suspension components have not been replaced, you should probably go ahead and replace them. Ball joints, shocks, bushings, and maybe even coil springs. It will make a huge improvement in the way it drives and handles.

    mad leaning

My 93 D150 was almost two inches lower on the driver's side when I got it. I replaced both front springs with new moogs, both spring cushion rings, and installed new shocks. It's now perfectly level. I also replaced the rear shocks. Man waht a difference it makes in the handling and ride.

    Tell me there's something better

UPDATE- I am now in the possession of MOPAR bushings (supposedly) from Troncalli Chrysler Jeep Dodge. One of my mates has a body shop and I was whining to him about the wiper bushings. He called Troncalli for some body repair parts and asked about the bushings. His parts sales rep says they are...

    Tell me there's something better

I've also considered trying to engineer/figure out a better system using sealed bearings, but I can't weld and I don't think I'm that bright. I did also use silicone lube on the bushings when I installed them. I'll try again, maybe I'll have better luck.

    Tell me there's something better

A somewhat thorough search for Mopar parts resulted in absolutely nothing. My truck is a 93 d150. Every site I found for Mopar parts only went back to 2nd gen pickups. So it's after market or nothing for me. I ordered mine from LMC figuring that they might be better/different from Dorman's...
