Not all dealerships are like that. I bought my Ram from a dealer 30 miles away and it was a terrible experience. Then one year later a new Ram dealership opened up just 3 miles from my house and I’ve been taking it there for service, they have been absolutely phenomenal in service and everything...- condor767

Just not digging it
I went from a 2017 Sport to a 2019 Bighorn Sport Loved the 17 Sport but the 19 Bighorn is a better truck in so many ways... handling, interior, features, and yes even exterior styling once I dechromed it and touched up the decals. I’ll always have a soft spot for the 4th gen looks! Ram...- condor767

LIFETIME warranty is definitely worth it and I’d be joining you in getting one. But they don’t offer it anymore. However... an 8/85, no thanks.. in my experience stuff doesn’t even start breaking down until well past that point. At least on all my previous vehicles... And the warranty folks...- condor767

MOPAR extended warrantees????
Edit... Ever since I posted this back in October, I’ve cancelled the warranty. Decided I did not want it in the end. Mainly due to the fact that I drive very low miles/year (7000-9000) so I would time out long before the mileage. Not worth it. Have better use for that money today. Good luck to all- condor767

@Nado.. I have the bucket deluxe cloth seats and I will NEVER go back to leather! The cloth seats are warm in the winter and cool enough in the summer... no more freezing or burning your legs. Sure, leather does look more upscale but I’ll choose cloth comfort over looks any day. Ram did a great...- condor767

That’s a pretty good deal considering how heavily optioned it is. As a reference, Mine (2019 Bighorn) was $38700 except I don’t have the 12” screen, or the 33gal tank, or the anti spin diff, or the deployable rear step, or the trailer brake control, and last but not least... no bed utility...- condor767

Know the feeling. Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary (10/26/19) of when I purchased my 19 Bighorn... and I’m just about to pass 13,000 miles. Trying to hit the end of the factory warranty right at the 3 year/36,000 mile point so that I make the most of the factory warranty period without...- condor767

What's different about a Bighorn/Lonestar?
Lonestar is the Texas-sold version of a Bighorn... that’s it. Same exact truck. As far as the ride / sound goes, it’s a Hemi! Gonna have some rumble to it, which is exactly what makes it so awesome. You’re just used to your much smoother sounding V6. The 5th gen Rams are some of the smoothest...- condor767

1st time buyer
+ 1 vote on the 8.4 screen. Zero problems in the one year I’ve had mine. I do love the look of the 12’ screen but one thing I couldn’t stand would be to have to control the A/C with the touch screen... gimme old fashioned knobs I can turn all day long! Damn that sucks. So it kind of goes along with what the Zeigler rep told me.. if the diodes just plain go out, they’re not covered. It’s gotta be a proven failure of the electronic circuitry for it to be covered.- condor767

I called Zeigler today and they told me that the headlight assembly would only be covered if an electronic component caused the failure. If it’s just a diode that goes out it is not covered. That said, these LED lights have a shelf life of something like 100,000 hours so a diode going out is...- condor767

Are you sure about this? In my Mopar extended warranty it does say that “Concealed headlight module” is covered under the “Luxury group” provision (highlighted above)- condor767

I chose the $100 deductible. You can choose $0, $100 and $200. Obviously the $0 will be the most expensive ($2100ish) and $200 will be the cheapest ($1100ish.) Good luck.- condor767
