    Just find one that’s the biggest you can fit inside the fan shroud. Then decide if you want to use a thermostat switch or just manually activate it.

    I think you’d be fine. You’ll have the cv shaft a little closer to the bottom of your spring/strut base but that doesn’t move. Mine is a torsion bar setup but the axle is almost horizontal just sitting there.

    My CV’s clear fine.Those are the same knuckles I have. I was looking on here for a pic I had posted because it’s dark outside. The only one I found has a photobucket watermark across it. But I’ve had no issues in 60k miles on mine. I can take pics after work tomorrow if needed.

    I had 2” shackles then decided to drop it some when I did my front lower ball joints. I did 2” McGaughys spindles/knuckles and 3” BellTech leaf springs. BellTech also makes a 3.5” lowering leaf spring. You could do a 2” spring and a 2” shackle too.

    Anything is possible, but it’s definitely not practical. One could get a Casale v-drive and install it after the trans.

    I had 2” shackles on before I lowered the front with the McGaughys spindles/knuckles and it wasn’t quite low enough so I grabbed the 3” leaf springs.

    My 4x4 is lowered 2/3 with 305/45/22 on SRT10 wheels. I only have slight rubbing at full lock on the sway bar. Not enough to hear but I can see the rub marks.

    Power Steering Noise

    My pump never whined, but it got weak. Usually all power steering pumps have the same kind of whine when they’re going out. A pump is about $3x dollars. I went ahead and got the complete assembly with reservoir and pulley for around $100 to save time and hassle.

    New here. Woking in 05 Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 truck. Tail gate

    My latch on the left side drops back down. I have to manually pull the latch up while lifting the handle and hold it until I get the latch almost to the striker and then push the tailgate closed.

    4/6 won’t be too low for a 4wd. Mine is dropped 2/3 and it looks like basically a stock height 2wd.

    What did you do to your Gen3 today?

    Replaced the rear u-joint. Having been in there for 18 years and 177k miles, it was a little stubborn. A little heat and the BFH finally got the old one out.

    Lowering springs question

    2” you won’t have to change anything besides the springs and shocks, and could probably get by without even doing shocks.
