I've looked at these. Unfortunately they arent hidden as well and their logo is way too large. I have enough issue with the AMP logo when the boards are deployed.
This is where I am confused. Don't I have to use the single rivot and install the "riv nuts" prior to putting on the hinge arms?
You also say loosen the bolts. There are two bolts that face the outside and two bolts (installed in the riv nuts) that face the inside. Which ones do I loosesn?
I want to pull the trigger on these but keep hearing about the dreaded pinch weld issues. It seems like walking/bouncing on the steps cures most of the issues if done correctly.
I see conflicting information on when exactly in the process I need to do this. The instructions mention when to do...
I posted this in another thread. My 2022 Laramie 2500 did not come with the rear cargo view camera. This is a nice option during build for only $345. I can find the oem brake light with the camera for around that price. My question is whether it will plug and play if I swap parts and the...
Attached are measurements of my truck and some other pics. I have the 285/60r/20 firestone TransForce at tires. I have a Laramie Night Edition. NO air suspension.
I find it hard to think my pipe is sitting over an inch lower. But this is why I was checking on here. Welds look good where the...
Was unloading some tires and one bounced and hit my tailpipe pretty hard. I dont think it hit hard enough to bend anything but now I am noticing it looks like its lower. This might be in my head. Bottom of pipe tip is about 14" off ground. I know the previous gen the pipe was more horizontal to...
Thanks for the replies! Of course Ram's website says both are 80.2" tall but the added options would add weight so that makes sense. Negligible I am sure. The 2500 power wagon looks to be a whopping 1" taller.
mine too! one tire was almost 90. i put them down to 70 and much better. should they be even lower? inside sticker says 65. i figured that was lowest ud want.
Have been watching videos of 2500 Limited. One video, the guy mentioned that the Limiteds sit lower than other models. Is that correct? Or was he comparing to a rear air suspension model?
Also, does the off-road package have any effect on how high the truck sits?
Thanks in advance!
I did some research on some other forums/trucks. Sounds like a common issue. Supposedly as the LineX cures, its easier to shut and does not get hung up as bad. Other solutions are to trim the rubber stoppers slightly. Overall very happy with the liner. Just wish my truck had the factory running...
