    Already having issues

Don't feel like a fool...I've had my 2019 Bighorn for over a year. I didn't know the e brake would do this. I'll have to give it a try and see. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

Rear park sense braking and ghosts

The lane assist technology can also do some strange things. I was driving a Hyundai with all the safety stuff and it got confused where a road forked. Yeah... Self driving had a bit of work before it's ready for mass distribution. I'm waiting for an opportunistic attorney to take some of...

Rear park sense braking and ghosts

Mine has kicked in when backing out of a driveway. I assumed that it was the small dip where that driveway met the road. That have been a couple of times that I couldn't figure it what it 'saw'. I guess it's better to have a few false positives than failure to engage when needed. It sure...

How is truck reporting its condition?

3g... As I understand it, most carriers are phasing out their 3g networks. Verizon supposedly shut theirs down in 2020 with AT&T to follow in 2022. https://www.lightreading.com/5g/goodbye-3g-heres-when-t-mobile-atandt-and-verizon-will-shut-it-off-/d/d-id/763362 I assume that it's possible...

    UConnect

This is my experience with Android Auto. When I bought my 2019 Bighorn, I tried Android Auto. It didn't work very well. I was using an older phone - Samsung S7 Edge. The phone and UConnect got asking well and worked fine when connected via Bluetooth, but with AA things slowed to a crawl. A...

    2019 Ram 1500 Software Update

I don't think that I get the status reports, but I am not the most conscientious about email either. I don't think that I am particularly thrilled that my vehicle can be accessed remotely without my knowledge or permission. I worked in IT in elections for 20+ years. I prefer to know what is...

    2019 Ram 1500 Software Update

I've been meaning to post this and keep forgetting. A week or so ago I received a message on the touch screen (8.4) of my truck noting that a software update was available. I was promoted to return schedule the update for a later time or allow it to run immediately. I didn't have time to...

    What is this?

Many years ago the local circle track started a mini stock class. VWs, Pintos, etc could complete. VWs, being fairly cheap, were done of the first and most competitive entries. A friend was stripping excess sheet metal from the body of his rig and found a large chisel inside a door pillar...

    Toyota pickups do last longer

HunterDan, I can't disagree on your assessment of the Tundra. I did like mine, best of all because it was paid for! It was also the nicest vehicle I had owned to that point. Mine was a 2007. The really models of the new, larger had several issues - emission air pumps, drive shaft, front and...

    Toyota pickups do last longer

I will say this for my 2007 Tundra. It had the tow package with 4.30 diffs and 5.7 V8. It would also your neck from a dead stop. I believe it would have shown my 2019 Ram 1500 Hemi it's Toyota tail lights from a dead start or a rolling start. That thing would really pull. Can't test that...

Any former Toyota 4x4 guys here?

My 07 TRD 4x4 Tundra with tow package was great until it wasn't. Killer power, comfortable drive, good daily driver. Then the rear end went out. Replaced it twice at my own expense. My 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn may not do better, but there is currently hope. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

    Toyota pickups do last longer

I'm no Toyota fan. I bought an 07 Tundra used..88k miles. Toyota had a tsb on emission air pumps that would fail sure to water intrusion. The did extend the warranty on them as a response. The things were several thousand dollars to replace and wet placed under the left fender liner area...

    Train Horns?

When I was still commuting to work, my elevated highway route would take me over some RR tracks. Once in a while, there would be a train passing beneath the highway. As the train approached an intersection, the conductor would give the horns a blast. It never failed to startle me and make...

Does the powertrain warranty cover the manifold bolts?

@tomb That is a fine looking Ram. Color, stripes, chrome all play together very well. Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
