2016 front diff/gears
The old 5 speeds definitely needed re-geared. The the new 8 speed transmission and transfer case eliminate the need to re gear for everything but rock crawling which very few do with a full size truck with ifs. Kudos to you on having a setup you enjoy! Mine doesn't feel more sluggish with 37s... -

2016 front diff/gears
I'm running 37's with the stock 3.21 gears. I go wheeling and never had any issue with this arrangement, my truck is a 2016 with the 8 speed which has a lower 1st gear with 3.21's than the previous 6 speed with 4.56's. The 3.92 would be the biggest ratio you'd need to go to if you have an 8... -

How high would you like to go on the Bilsteins? If max, 2.8", look at Rough Country Upper Country control arms for 3" lift. They work great and aligning is much more simple. -

How much lift do you want? Bilstein 5100 Struts and Shocks with the highest setting and their rear coils will give you about a 3" lift in the front and 1.5" in the rear. How much lift for 24x12 and 37s?
I'm on 37's with 3" lift up front and 1" in the rear for off roading, stock 3.21 gears with the 8 speed transmission. The truck runs great and has a hemifever engine and trans tune. Runs cooler on the interstate 160-170f. City driving is still 180-185f but cools off on the interstate. That's similar to my long term plan when I have more time. The homes are sized for -8an on the side of the trans case and can be drilled larger. Just tap for -8an and start plumbing.- dc435911

I get what your saying and that's awesome the stock setup works for you. With what I do with my truck the ppe pan offers more than just cooling which is increased capacity so more fluid available when the roads are very steep allowing for better pickup of oil over stock.
