    I made the jump because fuel economy dropped drastically when towing with the 5.7. It definitely limited the distance we could afford to tow. I am seeing almost doubled fuel economy and pulls as good as the 5.7

    Traded my 2017 Ram 1500 quad cab w/5.7 for this 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie crew cab w/3.0 Eco-diesel. Towing our 32 foot trailer with the 5.7 was disastrous to fuel economy. The Eco-diesel has already performed much better.
