    Appreciate that. I guess it's ok to use a filter a little larger than a shot glass? The size of the OEM filter wasn't engineered for functionality but was "sized down" as a last resort solely "to fit" I think.

    Something in the primary wiring or yes, it could be MDS solenoid. I'm sure you reset code...? The ecm may still be compensating for the failed lifter but I'm not a tech so...

    Is it safe to go to conventional after synthetic? I heard this was a bad idea. I have 31 thousand so far-no issues (that I know of).

    I use PUP 5w20 every 5000 miles ALONG with Tech-Moly (Germany). Have to find it but there’s a video on YT explaining exactly how the oil reaches lifter bearings. In the Hemi’s. Always wondered why Ram says 20 weight and it’s because it’s supposedly the only way it can reach certain areas.
