Strange things happens.
Update. I do my oil change with my MOTUL 300V (didn't find MOBIL 1 on my island), change the oil filter for a motorcraft 820 and add some mecacyl CRP and the taptap is gone. I did some research and I've found that the MOTUL 300V must be change after 3K miles (5000KM). So it's really a matter of...- Doodoo972

Thanks guys, I have a WIX XP oil filter and I'm using Motul 300V 5w30 oil with mecacyl MOS2 oil additive. So far I'm not afraid about a cam and lifter upgrade. No it's not the exhaust manifold bolts, I have a set of shorty headers because of that and I know what it sounds like. It's definitively not that. Manifold bolts and more “permanent” fix?!
I know you don't like the BBK's here but I have them installed for 2 years now and I have zero issues with them. I bought the ceramic coated ones and they still looking pretty good. They are also CARB certified and they already passed my emission test two times.- Doodoo972

Are the people who had the 20+ mpg checking their mileage with a real calculation ? I mean when you go to the pump pick out your number of miles and divided it by the gallons you really used to do this number of miles... maybe the truck computer is a little optimistic...- Doodoo972

Did Redline Oil work against your Hemi Tick?
Hi guys, I don't have access to Redline oil here but I uses MOTUL 300V 5w30 with LiquiMoly Mos2 and it killed all the noises (tick and clank). Very happy with this combo so far.- Doodoo972
