    Lost count how many times I have tried to 'switch gears' only to change the radio volume ...or tried to turn down the radio volume only to change gears. I would be happier with the old column shift, as I opted for the front 'bench' vice a console... seating for 6, with almost as much storage...

    Basic question:. Did you 'bed in' the brakes? Drive it at 50-60mph apply brakes steady & hard, down to 10 to 15mph...repeat several times, then drive normally. If it's still doing it, repeat the process.

    Remember...auto recyclers get 'new' donors in from time to time. So while they may not have what you need today, they may have it next week/ month. They also have the capability to see if other yards have what you are looking for...and can get it shipped from that other yard.

    I have yet to understand vehicle replacement so often by some folks. I hate making payments. Replaced the wife's 4Runner after owning it 17 years. Replaced my Dakota after owning it 26 years. This may be the last pickup I bought.
