    WOW I guess I'm one of the lucky ones? I did a drain and refill when I hit 60K. I went back with green O' reilly house brand that says for all makes/ all models.....@ 83K no problems except the broken manifold bolts. 2014 5.7 1500

    Nope I was running about 60 and happened before I got to about 75... took a nose dive till I let off of it.

    User Error. Drove over 220 miles today to Centerville Texas after tightening up everything last night. Made quite a few from 65 to 90 passes once the speed limit raised to 75. Not one problem and sounds great.

    I had to pass a few big rigs today coming home and buried the gas pedal for the first time since I installed my K&N CAI and my truck cut out when the RPMs got what seemed like 4500K ??     I am just wondering if the lifter problem has anything to do with the oil being used? Wrong weight? Cheap oil? Not changing until the reminder tells you too? My brother has an 09 5.7 Hemi used as a company truck...idles long periods, stop and go traffic all the time and he almost has 300K on it...

    It's really not that expensive to fix if you do it your self or have a good relationship with your mechanic. I spent $360.00 to tap out two broken bolts and replace with OEM and add Flowmasters muffler. Looking back...yes wish I would have had the mechanic replace with long headers..
