The GURUs are the ones that have spent hours of their day for the past 15 years tearing these 4th and 5th gen HEMI engines down and building them back up. Pushing them to the limits. Testing new fluids, parts, computer parameters, etc…Rebuilding wore out or modifying new engines for people...- evolizzee

It might be more of: Ram choosing a bearing that is inadequate/improper for the task. The internal composition of the bearing, Ram uses, doesnt hold up in the conditions it is subjected to. This makes this particular bearing fail in conditions, where more suitable bearings would not fail. Even...- evolizzee

Redline 5W30. My 5th Gen has too much on it to have a warranty, anymore. So, I run what the HEMI Ram Gurus recommend.- evolizzee

Need advice on engine performance
Good quality Long Tubes yield anywhere from 30-40hp gains. Good quality Shorties will yield 5-10hp gains. A catless Y-pipe or H-pipe is worth another 5hp. Any modifications to the cat-back won’t add any power unless you’re putting remote turbos back there.- evolizzee

Definitely set aside some $$ for the 6.4 intake manifold. The headers give you a boost in power up top but nothing down low. The 6.4 IM will boost the power down low, giving you a fluid feeling powerband. HPT is definitely a better tuning platform compared to Diablo. There are way more options...- evolizzee

This is my 2nd Ram. I bought a new 2013 Express RCSB before my 5th Gen. It was my dragstrip/weekend truck that I put about 80k miles on during years I had it. 3.21 vs 3.92 real world
Yeah, the 3.21 8speed constantly bounced between 7 and 8 when cruising at speed while going up and down hills when I first got mine. I live in KY so there's a lot of hills here. It was very annoying. Luckily, tuning got rid of that issue for me. But yes, the 3.92 set up does not hunt for a gear...- evolizzee
