Steering wheel “sticking” on long sweeping left turns

Do you have a "new" or a "Classic"? I ask because on my 2014 the steering rack started binding on turns (both left and right) and I sprayed lithium lubricant on the shaft at the joint that connects to the power steering. That resolved the issue, but pretty sure I will have to replace that...

    5th gen tire wear

I can't say if there is going to be an issue with my 2019 since I've only had it for 2 weeks. On my 2014 that daughter is now driving I never had any issues with bad tire wear and from the time I bought it new never had an alignment and I never rotated the tires. The 2014 currently has 144,000...

    5th gen tire wear

You don't mention, but what do you have the tires inflated to?

    Bed Liner

I placed a BedRug in my last two trucks and really like them. They are spun plastic that feel like carpet and really save my knees when I crawl around bed. Cleaning is easy with a power washer or self serve car wash hose. Has a rubber foam base so water doesn't penetrate to bed.

    Opinion on 2019

That was one of the first things I checked before even taking a test drive. It helped owning a 2014 since new in regard to possible problem areas. The two things that the 19 doesn't have that i added to my last two trucks was a BedRug and hard folding bed cover. New has a soft cover and plastic...

    Opinion on 2019

Just as an update, I did pull the trigger on the 2019 Bighorn. It was a one owner, runs great and Carfax shows regular maintenance had been done. Dealer sold oy as Certified Used. My youngest is now driving the 14.

    Opinion on 2019

I currently have a 2014 Ram Express crew cab with 5.7 motor. Currently have 152,000 miles and still running strong. My thoughts are to give it to one of my kids and purchase a newer one. I've come across a 2019 crew cab, nicely optioned with 54,000 miles for 34k. I'd be looking to bring price...

    DEAD, won’t start please help

Take the easiet step first, pull the terminals and clean, second, load test the battery. A dead cell can cause all the symptoms you have, even trying to jump it.

    Flickering tail light

My left rear brake light has been "out" for quite a while. Since it doesn't affect anything except for having a fast blink I see no reason to pay for a new light because a couple of the individual led bulbs are out.

    Rip off

Is $200 bucks worth such anger? While I know some dealers do go over the top with some pricing there is a certain overhead needed just to answer the phone and have someone drive your vehicle into the bay. If you had the knowledge and equipment needed to do it yourself it would have happened...

Factory Led Tailight, blinking fast, sometimes

Mine does same think with the rear tail light working fine. It appears a couple of the LED bulbs are out which most like changes the resistance enough to make computer think tail light is out. Doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it. That, plus a new tail light is over $200.

"PERFORM SERVICE" Light 1 hour after purchase.

Start would be to pull codes. You don't mention if you have a warranty, but if you do take it back there so they can pull the codes. One of the best investments I've made was a scan tool. When a check engine light comes on for any of my cars I just plug it in and have a head start on what the...

Engine clicks twice, turns over then dies

Battery probably has a bad cell or cells. If it wasn't load tested it can be 12 volt or more and still do what you are seeing.

Scan tool that won’t break the bank

I have an Actron 9690 scanner that can do both OBD1 and II. May be a high cost then your looking for but it works great including being able to log data. Need both 1 and II because I had a 91 and currently have a 95 that use OBD1. In the last few years it has come in handy with my 1 and II...
