    It could be related to the ABS pump which is a common failure on rams. You need to take it to a dealer and run the codes, or buy a OBD Link code reader and use AlphaOBD. A standard code reader will not pull the codes if its ABS related.

    It has factory air suspension and upgraded running boards. Which I guess is the extra 60 lbs. When I was shopping for the truck there were some higher trims with 1800 lbs of payload.

    The issue is payload. The tongue weight on that trailer will be at least 750 lbs, potentially up to 900. If you get one with 1700 lbs of payload you will be ok, but some trims are 1400 lbs or less which would not be ideal.

    You are correct, its 6k each for 12k total. What I meant to say is with the truck on the scale there is about 3000 lbs of available weight on the rear axle.
