I get positive chats as well. This thing is not a fancy truck but man, whatever I hook to I just put it in gear and go. It's super nice.
My dad used to have a side business hauling, and was right before the big diesel phase. Last truck for hauling was a 91 Chevy 3500 single cab long bed 4x4...
No help and don't wanna derail but I read and kinda laughed because rotary shifter....looking at it is the only part I don't mind haha. I don't mind the looks, functionality is annoying. Especially in trailer backing scenarios. But anyways. Is what it is
I have same drivetrain and have but 10k a couple times with my 2019 tradesman.
I'll agree with this all. No taxing hills but the truck had plenty more "go". I'm sure if I had 12000# to tow 1200 miles I might be upset at cost of gas but I don't do that so I don't care.
Think we are missing the obvious choice here.
Just get a second truck. That way you can rock a tonneau on one and a cap on the other. Should simplify life a lot for you.
I think that ease of removal is what's key.
I have a gooseneck trailer so no cap for me. But as a first time tonneau buyer I needed to think how removal and accessibility.
Picture indicates many more miles than new. And any type of major alteration like lift and different size tires can ruin the "no problems scenario"
But to actually address something. Picture indicates an electronic braking issue not a trailer braking issue. Meaning ANYTHING such as abs...
Prob unplugged or angry safety harness/sensor.
I am sure it's annoying. But this camper world is fully liable until they price it's the trucks fault then it's warranty. So at least you don't have to worry about that.
Hmm. Yeah I'm considering upping my antenna game a bit more. This is nice length because my truck goes in the barn almost every time it's out. But at 50 watts I don't seem to hit the repeaters unless I'm like 10 miles to it. I am here in flat land USA. no hills at all. Just miles of farm ground...
