    I have a 2016 Ram 1500 ecodiesel I am looking to put in a remote starter kit It appears that there are a lot out there Can anyone tell me of one they have put in their truck that was 100% plug and play? and they were able to use their OEM key fobs? Cheers Curtis

    1500ram12 The wire is wrapped up in protected tape, I'll have to remove it to see. Thanks for the info. What does the 2017+ have? that my 2016 doesn't have for this trick to work?

    Am I reading this thread right??? If I wire the hood connector to read closed, and use the alfaobd app to turn on the remote start, and refresh the RFB, is that all that is required to activate the remote start??????? It sounds to easy. Cheers Curtis

    Just finished reading some more posts on the "tilt mirror on reverse", so I can't do it without memory mirrors? correct

    I can find the passenger, and driver memory mirrors present, But can't locate the tilt mirrors in reverse, can someone point it out?

    I would like to say "Thank You" to the members that supplied the information, and the steps to programming a new fobik. Finally, after the Postal disspute up here, it arrived, and I just finished programming it, under 1 minute and it was done! Finally got a spare key !
