IMHO every vehicle should have a tow point on front and rear. Cars use to have a spot you could screw a I bolt into. Not so much nowadays. I agree with op you need a way to hook a tow rope up to every vehicle even if it is to help the rollback truck load up repositions lol
Hello also from the "panhandle " you may want to invest in a dash cover. Had a truck around that year. They don't like our hot Florida sun. (Dash, hood and roof paint seems to succumb to the heat the quickest. It was a 1 ton 4x4 so it didn't fit in a garage sat out side 24, 7)
Sounds great to me but I certainly wouldn't buy the first year. Let someone else be a genypig.
Would like to know what the gpm is when using engine to generate the power needed. Is it as good as an ice pickup with the v6?
Like many people have stated locomotives use it so it must be an...
I agree with post above. Best fix is probably new clamps or cables. But a poor man's fix to get you back home could be the spot on clamps that are touching not allowing you to close them anymore you can shave/cut some of that led away so you can squeeze more. A even easier/quicker not...
My thoughts on this is your buying 4 wheel drive to not get stuck and paying slot for that feature up front and forever with poorer fuel milage. Limited slip also helps you not get stuck. It is cheaper and does not drop your fuel milage. So yes get it. You know without it you could get stuck...
I have to tell this story with all the open door and backing up talk. I was a paramedic dispatched to a hit and run. I beat the FHP to the scene the 16 year old hit was having a seizure so we loaded him up and got going to hospital. It should be noted he was not on the road but in his front...
It's a car but I hit a pot whole got abs red light came on and several messages started scrolling on dash, no power stearing, no abs, no Electronic stability control.
Ended up being it knocked a magnet out of front hub so no speed sensor info from front left tire. So computer just quit doing...
If one cylinder has low compression, try pouring about a teaspoon of oil into the spark-plug hole and retesting. If compression increases, it's likely the rings are stuck or worn. The oil acts as a seal and helps close the gap between the rings and the cylinder wall through which the cylinder is...
If a major repair to a vehicle was no big deal. And they were as good as new. Used vehicles that had wrecks on their car fox would sail for same price as vehicles that have not. Frame repair on a truck that is used as a truck is definitely a no go in my experience.
