EVIC reads 14V on dead battery?
After my 2012 Ram 1500 sat all day Sunday in the garage, I went to start it this morning and nothing. No clicking, dead. Also, it wouldn't let me remove the key. Did your extended warranty pay off?
Paid off for me. At 72K the cam went flat on my 2012 Laramie. I got a new engine. Took over 30 days to get the new long block but fortunately we had another auto to use. Funny, it didn't include new spark plugs so I did have to pay for them.- Fossil

New engine
I went through this last November with my 2012 with 71,000 miles. Took it to a dealer and they said I qualified for a new engine. It took 30 days to get it inspected by the regional guy and then like you said they don't have engines sitting on the shelf. Finally got the new long block on Feb...- Fossil

We need UOA's for Cam/Lifter Failures...
Today I was notified that the my dealer had received new new long block. They hope to have it installed by Friday. The dealer has had my pick up since November 20th. It took 30 days to get an inspector to confirm that this was a warranty issue and not misuse. I guess the factory doesn't just...- Fossil

Tailgate power lock actuator
