Block Heater effectiveness 5.7
I plug in my truck as soon as the temp goes below -15C. I have it on a timer and run it for 2 hours prior to my planned departure time. When I start the truck in coolant temp is usually in the +15 to +17 range. If the temp ar going below -20C I plug in my battery blanket and 2 Amp onboard...- Frisk

2017 Uconnect Android Auto & Apple Carplay
https://gromaudio.com/store/all-chru.html For me the cost ($629) and the lack of touch screen make it not a viable solution for me. I have one of those $100 7" add on screens ....not ideal but it works for carplay and I keep by touchscreen. Hard to argue with the price of hte add on screen.- Frisk

Hole in back of the 115v power inverter cubby
I use that plug to charge my little battery jump starter twice a year. It's handy to have it in the truck and be able to top it up on a long drive. -
How Many Have Been Using Their Block Heater This Winter?
I use my block heater whenever the overnight temp is -15C or lower. If it is really cold outside I also have a heated battery blanket and a 2 amp smart charger on a second cord. I use a timer to turn them on about 3 hours before my departure time. Makes a huge difference in how fast it warms up...- Frisk

So I noticed 10-12 drops of oil on my driveway. I looked underneath my 2016 Ram 1500 Sport and noticed the front of the transfer case was covered in oil. This was in the area of the front seal. Having stereo read text messages
Turning on Bluetooth uConnect "Show Notifications" fixed the problem. I now get a pop up on the truck screen that I can tap and have the text message read to me while I am driving.- Frisk

Under Messages? I just checked the Messages and I see that "Focus" was not turned on (I have now turned it on). Under the "Allow Notifications" section its turned on. "Show in CarPlay" is turned on even though I don't have CarPlay. "Show Previews" is set to Always. "Customize Notifications" is...- Frisk
