2013, ram power steering. Board rebuild??
Anybody ever repair a board for their power steering. Took the cover plate off , no signs of corrosion. Board has power and belt on motor is good. Computer says board is the problem. But it looks new. Best price so far was 1400 bucks for the rack, with no guarentees it will work. If it does...- fxnytro17

Yes I know. My neighbour had the problem about 3-4 years ago and I told him to order it from there. Which he did. At the time it was 750 bucks. Napa has them now for 100 bucks ♂️. Mine just never gave out so I kept driving it. This kit was 300 for everything you see in the box.- fxnytro17

Passenger Output shaft repair
Here it goes. Driving with a worn front output shaft now for about 6 years now. Finically found a kit, came with everything needed. Bought two new cv axles as well. See how it goes I guess. Shouldn’t be to bad.- fxnytro17

Yes I never even asked around for somebody to quote it lol. Wasn’t worth the phone call. Most shops would’ve told me I needed a new Tipm. Would’ve bought that and replaced it then still have the same issues. It’s a headache but I believe in figuring these things out then it’s easier the next...- fxnytro17

I’ve tried every salvage yard I could find. I had no luck. I found one Tipm on eBay with the connectors still on the bottom. They just cut the harness and removed the box. Canadian dollar gone to ****, plus border fees. The $299 American came to $600+ Canadian lol. I will keep looking because I...- fxnytro17

Yes but for most it’s probably to late. I have it fixed for now I think. All my accessories inside are back on with power. Spliced the pins with wires into my harness. Soldered and heat shrink.- fxnytro17

Jeep walker, I have been removing the pins with a small Allen key I have flattened out, works good. As for repairing the pins, lol, I removed a pin with the wire already broken, it was actually disintegrated. As in nothing left. Full of white corrosion. 2015 4x4 TIPM issues
Mine is like this now, the green connector under the Tipm has broken wires. The whole connector is corroded. Repinned one tonight now I have 4wd back. Check out the connectors on the bottom and pins for corrosion- fxnytro17
