    Startup clatter a week after first oil change...

    Not exactly the same issue, but last summer when I went from Amsoil 5-20 to Amsoil 5-30, I had a code on my handheld scanne that said "Incorrect Viscosity". I have never seen an engine do this.

    Flowmaster muffler

    My 08 5.7 had a 3" single inlet and dual 2 1/2" outlets and I had the exhaust re-done to 2 1/2" true dual with a Magnaflow dual in/out s/s muffler , built in X pipe. Much mellower, but still a nice tone. The Flowmaster had a drone on the highway.

    Hemi Oil Filter, 2 part question

    Regardless of vehicle and filter brand I have always hand tightened oil filters. Never an issue. Always wipe fresh oil on the gasket.
