Yes I did readjust them and clean them up. The previous owner seemed to over grease via the buddy bearings and pushed grease past the seals. So....I most likely need to change out the brake shoes etc. But nevertheless the P3 is working much better than the factory set up. I'd advise anyone...
No I couldn't lock them up. Even when cranked up to 14 gain. But they do work 10x better than with the OEM controller.

No Joy unfortunately. Seat of the pants test feels the same to me after the SW change. Still only getting 1.5A per wheel and around 7V DC from the truck. Was still unable to adjust the gain as you normally would and no difference at 25mph or 40+mph panic stops the trailer pushes...
