    Mine died about the same time/mileage. Just replaced with Michelin Defender LTX M/S at $330 per tire with $100 rebate for purchase of 4 tires. I like them so far. Not quite as "smooth" as the GYs, but I am hoping for far more than 28k miles. The Michelins have a 60k mileage warranty
